Born from the voices of care service sites, "Stand LM" is an AI assistant for home-visit nursing and care.
ENBASE Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yohei Mujin) has announced the commencement of a joint demonstration (PoC) with Iijima Home Medical Clinic (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Director: Masashi Iijima) from May 2026. This PoC focuses on AI-powered support for home-visit nursing operations using "Stand LM," an AI-driven automatic record generation service for home-visit nursing and care.
■ Background of the Demonstration
In the field of home medical care, the quality of reports from home-visit nurses to doctors directly impacts patient safety. However, a challenge exists where the granularity and structure of reports can vary, as nurses need to organize and convey a large amount of information to doctors within a limited time.
Furthermore, emotions such as pain, anxiety, and loneliness experienced by patients receiving home care are not always clearly expressed verbally. There is a need for a mechanism to capture these non-verbal cues and share them across the entire care team.
This demonstration will verify whether AI-powered conversation data analysis can achieve report standardization and emotional visualization.
■ Overview of the Demonstration
This PoC will address the following two themes:
Theme 1: Improving the accuracy of reports from nurses to doctors
AI analyzes conversation data during care and automatically generates reports in SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) format.
In addition, AI proposes appropriate assessment scales (e.g., pain assessment, ADL assessment) to nurses based on the patient's condition and supports their inclusion in the reports.
The aim is to establish a reporting system that enables doctors to make prompt and accurate decisions.
Theme 2: Supporting the interpretation of patients' emotions and psychological states
AI analyzes patients' emotional expressions in conversations and visualizes them as reports that can be shared among nurses, doctors, and the care team. By capturing emotions and psychological changes that patients find difficult to verbalize, this theme aims to increase decision-making materials for care policies, support early detection of changes in condition, and prevent problems.
Furthermore, the analysis results are also considered for application in training new nurses, serving as educational material that visualizes insights from experienced nurses.
■ Future Outlook
In this verification, we will continuously improve AI accuracy based on feedback from nurses and doctors obtained in actual clinical settings, with the goal of practical implementation. The verification results will be sequentially reflected in the Stand LM service, contributing to strengthened collaboration among home-visit nursing stations, medical institutions, care managers, and other multidisciplinary professionals, as well as improving the quality of home care.
■ About Stand LM
AI generates reports for each visit, which can be viewed and edited on the web or app.
Stand LM is an AI assistant that automates home-visit nursing and care records from conversations. It analyzes conversations during care in real-time and automatically generates business records in formats tailored to the facility's operations, including SOAP format. By integrating and analyzing home-visit nursing care plans and past visit histories, it provides high-quality records relevant to the context of the field.
