On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Emuni Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuta Shimono; hereinafter 'Emuni') will host a free online seminar titled 'Recreating Veteran "Craftsmen" with AI ― The Forefront of Data Utilization in Manufacturing' featuring Mr. Kentaro Oda from Google Cloud Japan G.K. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Japan Representative: Tomoko Mikami; hereinafter 'Google Cloud').

'Without that veteran, the line can't run.' 'What makes the skilled worker's movements different? No one can put it into words.' – Manufacturing sites face the serious challenge of personalized expert skills that cannot be passed on. If retirements of skilled workers continue without progress in skill transfer, the 'craftsman's techniques' that have supported site quality and productivity will be lost.

This webinar will explain, with concrete examples, how to use data and AI for the succession of expert skills, featuring Gemini, which natively handles multimodal processing, and Gemini Enterprise, a platform for autonomous agents, alongside Emuni, which has been using AI to verbalize tacit knowledge on the manufacturing floor.

Google Cloud will introduce the latest examples of similar drawing searches and visual inspection automation using the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, as well as the new architecture for manufacturing AI that Gemini is pioneering. Emuni will focus on cases where AI compares and analyzes work videos of new and veteran employees, verbalizes tacit knowledge, and automatically generates procedure manuals, explaining the design and operational know-how for AI that is truly used on the shop floor.

◾️Program (Online Seminar Timetable)

【12:00-12:05】Opening Greetings and Guidance

Facilitator: Kazuma Monzen (Emuni Inc. / Marketing Engineer)

Content: Explanation of webinar flow, introduction of speakers, guidance on Q&A, etc.

【12:05-12:20】The Transformation of Multimodal AI in Manufacturing Brought by Gemini Enterprise

Speaker: Kentaro Oda (Google Cloud Japan G.K., Asia Pacific Regional Head of Business Development)

Abstract: The use of generative AI in manufacturing is expanding to frontline operations such as production, maintenance, and quality. This session will explain the forefront of manufacturing data utilization opened up by native multimodal Gemini and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. It will introduce approaches to building a 'knowledge base' that spans drawings, images, and text, including a case study of similar drawing searches at NGK Spark Plug, from the perspective of a Google Cloud GTM leader.

【12:20-12:35】How AI Turned a Skilled Worker's 'Craftsman Movements' into a Procedure Manual

Speaker: Yuta Shimono (Emuni Inc. / Representative Director & CEO)

Abstract: 'What is different about that skilled worker's movements?' This is an eternal theme on the manufacturing floor. This session will introduce Emuni's implementation case where multimodal AI compares and analyzes work videos of new and veteran employees, automatically verbalizes the 'tricks' of the trade, and outputs them directly as a procedure manual. It will share the design and operational know-how for AI that is truly used on the shop floor, having consistently executed the 'video → verbalization → manualization' process.

【12:35-13:00】Cross Talk: How Will Multimodal AI Change 'Knowledge' in Manufacturing?

Speakers: Oda x Shimono (Moderator: Monzen)

Themes:
・How will multimodal AI enable the succession of 'tacit knowledge' in manufacturing?
・How to build a knowledge base that spans drawings, images, text, and numerical data
・Key points for operations, organization, and data preparation to avoid stopping at the PoC stage
