Elleair Ladies Amateur Championship 2026 to be Held

Daio Paper Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), which operates "Elleair," the No. 1 brand in sanitary paper products*1, will hold the "Elleair Ladies Amateur Championship 2026" starting July 22 (Wednesday) at four venues nationwide (Fukuoka Prefecture, Ehime Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Nara Prefecture). Furthermore, the winning players from each venue will be recommended by the organizers to participate in the "45th Memorial Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open" in November this year.

As one of the activities of "Team Elleair," our sports support initiative, we have been holding amateur championships as a stage for women to shine, with the aim of promoting women's empowerment and supporting women who challenge themselves with the dream of becoming professional golfers.

This tournament, celebrating its 24th anniversary this year, began in 2002, and a total of 4,101 players have participated so far. Among them, 88 players have made it to the Elleair Ladies Open in that year. Professional golfers such as Ai Suzuki, Momoko Oosato, and Hana Wakimoto, who have won domestic women's tours, are currently active in the JLPGA Tour, having used this tournament as a stepping stone. We hope that the experience of playing with admired female professionals amidst the excitement and tension of a pro tour will be a step towards fulfilling their dreams and lead to the birth of female professional golfers who will be active globally in the future.

1. Dates and Venues *From this year, the Shikoku (Kagawa) tournament will be discontinued and consolidated into the Shikoku tournament.

2. Eligibility: Female golfers of junior high school age or older who retain amateur status on the day of participation.

3. Recruitment Capacity: Approximately 64 players per venue (Applications close once capacity is reached).

4. Application Period: June 1, 2026 (Monday) ~ Approximately two weeks before the event date for each venue.

5. Application Guidelines: Disclosed on the official tournament website.

6. Selection for the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open

1) Winners from each venue will be granted the right to participate in the "45th Memorial Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open."

2) Players ranked 2nd to 3rd (tied) from each venue will be granted the right to participate in the "45th Memorial Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open" Organizer Recommendation Selection (Mandatory Tournament).
