Renewed Affiliation Contract with Windsurfing iQFOiL Class Designated Athlete Rina Niijima, Continuing to Challenge Her Dreams

Daio Paper Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), which develops the No. 1 sanitary paper product brand*2 'Elleair', will renew its affiliation contract with windsurfer Rina Niijima. This affiliation contract started in 2022 and marks its 5th year this year.

Athlete Niijima is a top-class domestic windsurfer with expectations for further success, having taken 1st place among female competitors at the 2025 iQFOiL National Series Round 1 Hayama Tournament in May 2025, winning the iQFOiL Class All Japan Championship in October, achieving good results in various tournaments, and ranking 2nd overall annually in the 2025 iQFOiL International Series.

Our company develops 'Team Elleair', a sports support activity that provides a stage for and cheers on athletes who earnestly strive towards their dreams, such as hosting the domestic women's pro golf tour 'Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open' for over 40 years and supporting the Tokyo Women's Schoolchild and Junior High School Rubber Baseball Tournament.

We will continue to cheer on athlete Niijima, who has made a new start toward her dream of competing in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Raised by the sea in Kamakura, she has been active since the 4th grade of elementary school, achieving feats like winning the All Japan Junior Championship for 5 consecutive years. Conquered all domestic pro tours in the FOIL division for 2022-2023. Currently active as an iQFOiL class designated athlete (as of March 2026).
