ElephantStone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazutaka Tsurume) is pleased to announce the launch and opening of its new recruitment website (https://recruit.elephantstone.net/ ).

Based on the concept “ISHI - If pride were born so easily, we wouldn’t be needed,” the site was established not only to communicate our values and business activities but also to convey the essence of the work of “creating pride,” the difficulties behind it, and the “will and determination” (ISHI) required to face them.

Under the corporate slogan “Shape, Polish, Shine,” ElephantStone has worked to create value through video as a “company that creates pride.”

In this process, we have seen an increase in people who empathize with our philosophy and stance. However, at the same time, we began to feel that we had not sufficiently conveyed the difficulty of this work and the weight of the responsibility involved.

Our work is by no means just about the glamorous side. It is about continuing to walk alongside our clients as their partner. It is about consistently delivering output that exceeds expectations. It is about continuing to give shape to truly necessary value while understanding the client’s intentions and background.

In all of these aspects, high standards and responsibility are required.

Furthermore, “creating pride” itself is not something that can be easily achieved.

We believe that pride only takes shape by continuing to face clients as a partner, taking responsibility for every single task in front of us, and seeing it through to the end—choosing and accumulating these actions through one’s own will.

The Recruitment Site Concept is “ISHI”

Due to its name, ElephantStone is often affectionately referred to as “Elephant” both inside and outside the company. However, for this recruitment site, we deliberately focused on “Stone” (Ishi in Japanese).

This “Stone” carries two meanings: “Stone” (Ishi) as an unwavering foundation or a rough diamond that shines when polished, and “Will” (Ishi) as the determination to choose one’s own path and push forward.

Beyond just the glamour and fun, can you still commit to this work despite its difficulties and heavy responsibilities? We believe that the collective “will” (ISHI) of each individual in response to that question is what forms the company known as ElephantStone.
