Elecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Koichi Iwami) will release the 'Charging Waterproof Cap CAP-1' exclusively for NESTOUT outdoor batteries starting in mid-April. This cap allows for safe charging even in situations exposed to rain or water splashes.

By using it in combination with the NESTOUT outdoor battery series, waterproof performance is ensured even with the charging cable plugged in, allowing for safe charging in outdoor environments subject to sudden rain or splashes. It is compatible with the DE-NEST-5000, DE-NEST-10000, and DE-NEST-15000 series, and can be easily installed by simply removing the screw-on cap of the battery body and replacing it.

Ensures Waterproofing Even With the Cable Plugged In

This is an optional waterproof charging cap part that can be used with the outdoor battery series of 'NESTOUT,' a brand specialized for the outdoors.

Even in situations prone to water droplets, such as sudden rain outdoors, fishing, camping, or sleeping in a car, combining it with the NESTOUT outdoor battery series ensures waterproof capability during charging with the cable plugged in. You can safely charge even in situations where rain or water splashes occur.

It features JIS protection class (IPX4) waterproof specifications (*), ensuring safe use even during sudden rain or water splashes. *When the battery and cable are attached.

* The battery is not included. A NESTOUT outdoor battery (sold separately) is required. * A charging cable is not included. Please prepare one separately. * Although this product meets JIS protection class (IPX4), it is not completely waterproof. Do not submerge it in water or use it in heavy rain or severe weather. * Do not forcefully pull out the cable while this product and the cable are attached to the battery. The packing may be damaged.

Regarding Compatible Models and Installation Method

It is compatible with the DE-NEST-5000 series, DE-NEST-10000 series, and DE-NEST-15000 series.

It can be easily installed by simply unscrewing the screw-on cap on the charging port of the NESTOUT outdoor battery and replacing it.

The battery is compatible with standard universal charging cables.
