The EX3245H significantly improves brightness and contrast performance over conventional products through its Mini LED backlight and EIZO's proprietary backlight control method that optimizes local dimming technology. It clearly and precisely displays 4K images from surgical microscopes, endoscopes, and surgical assistance robots, even under the bright lighting of an operating room.
・ Development Background
In recent years, monitors displaying surgical images have been required to have not only high resolution but also display performance capable of accurately identifying minute blood vessels and tissue structures. On the other hand, operating rooms generally have high illuminance, posing challenges in improving screen visibility and suppressing reflections. High brightness and high contrast performance, which faithfully reproduce images from dark to bright areas, are essential, especially for displaying images from surgical microscopes, endoscopes, and surgical assistance robots.
Furthermore, in medical equipment connection environments, there is a demand for compatibility with new video infrastructures that transmit high-definition video with low latency via networks. In medical settings, seamless compatibility with various old and new video standards and flexible interface design that can optimize wiring in limited spaces are emphasized.
To meet these needs, we have developed the EX3245H as a new flagship model that integrates high-quality imaging technology, flexible connectivity, and hygiene/installability.
