Eiwa Shinkin Bank (Naniwa-ku, Osaka; Chairman: Satoshi Kato), which is celebrating its 95th anniversary, will open a new base on April 3, 2026, at the innovation facility JAM BASE in Umekita's Grand Green Osaka, under the name "THE EIWA SHINKIN BANK JAM BASE Office." Through the creation of new businesses and support for growing companies, the bank will boost regional revitalization. Eiwa Shinkin Bank has previously focused on regional revitalization through activities centered around its physical branches. However, as business models and corporate forms diversify, the bank is establishing this new base at "Grand Green Osaka JAM BASE," a core facility for innovation where information and expertise are concentrated. The bank will launch operations as an intellectual strategic hub, generating synergies through collaboration with tenants and public institutions, as well as matching services for existing clients. Starting April 3, the bank plans to deploy a rotation of resident staff and area staff to visit tenant companies and surrounding businesses, as well as to engage in new customer acquisition activities. The bank intends to build relationships with various organizations through participation in events and is also considering hosting its own unique events. Eiwa Shinkin Bank opened "THE EIWA SHINKIN BANK Grand Front Osaka Office" at Grand Front Osaka Knowledge Capital last year (May 2025), which is already operating as a venue for intellectual exchange and information sharing.
