### ■ About Eitaro Sohonpo Founded in 1818 (the first year of the Bunsei era), we are a Japanese confectionery manufacturing and retail company headquartered in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. The company name is derived from the name of Eitaro (later Yasubei Hosoda III), who opened the Nihonbashi main store in 1857 (the fourth year of the Ansei era). We hold the longest history in Japan as a candy manufacturer affiliated with the All Japan Candy Industry Cooperative. In addition to candy, our products include fresh sweets, yokan, baked goods, and anmitsu. We also develop brands specialized by concept, such as "Ameya Eitaro" (specializing in candy), "Nihonbashi Eitaro" (casual packaging), "Tokyo Peasen" (Tokyo souvenirs), and "Karada ni Eitaro" (health-conscious). Our clientele is broad, ranging from department stores, mass retailers, and the transportation market to shrines and temples. With a corporate culture that values "learning from the past to create the new," our manufacturing facilities continue to operate using not only the latest machinery but also traditional techniques and equipment.
