Takashi Yoshidada has thus far been involved in practical activities crossing education, welfare, community, and culture. These include operating the art school 'Atelier e.f.t.', 'Tokyo Coffee', which questions the nature of adults and society triggered by school non-attendance and creates a new educational culture (winner of double Good Design and Kids Design Awards), and 'Magical Candy Store Tyrol-do', a candy store where all children can eat without feeling miserable (winner of the Good Design Grand Award - Prime Minister's Award).
Under the philosophy of 'learning to live through creating', he is expanding learning spaces nationwide that draw out independence and creativity, targeting everyone from children to adults.
Upon assuming the role of visiting professor this time, based on his practical knowledge to date, he will be responsible for advising on education and research in the fields of education and creation, and disseminating this to society. At the same time, he will participate as a guest speaker in classes at the College/Graduate School of Design and Art.
Furthermore, while loosely connecting with the initiative of 'e.f.t. College of Arts', which is being conceived and promoted in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture as a practice of community learning, he will share insights regarding the relationship between education and society.
Regarding the creation of a new learning base in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture, and the implementation of crowdfunding
Our association has currently signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Tenri City, Nara Prefecture regarding child support, and is working to create a new learning base 'e.f.t. [College of Arts]' that goes beyond the framework of the existing school system.
