Edmilson Funds Asia (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director of the Japan Office: Yoshitetsu Hayashi; hereinafter "our organization"), which operates to support Japanese children who find it difficult to continue playing soccer due to economic reasons so they "can continue soccer and not give up on their dreams," will hold a free soccer clinic for children at "Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki" in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:30. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, our organization has continuously created 'experience opportunities' for children from families facing economic difficulties who want to say, "I want to play soccer!" "I want to move my body!" and "I want to talk about dreams with everyone!"
With the cooperation of Mr. Ruy Ramos, a former Japan national team player who built the foundation of Japanese soccer and is a special supporter of our organization, several special coaches will participate. They include Mr. Daisuke Nasu, a board member of our organization and former Japan national team player; Mr. Jong Tae-se, a supporter, former J-Leaguer, and former North Korea national team player; Mr. Yuto Takeoka, a former J-Leaguer; and Mr. Kaoru Morioka of Pescadola Machida, a former futsal player for Peru and the Japan national team. Together, they will enjoy the soccer experience with the participants.
Furthermore, as part of this initiative, regarding "food"—which is essential for children's healthy growth—a "food education class" will be held for parents to support body building through food without economic burden in these times of high prices. This is supported by Yakuryo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Additionally, a fun corner will be set up for accompanying children who are not participating in the soccer experience, supported by the Kawasaki Civic Activities Center.
Together, we will continue our activities to expand the possibilities of all children through soccer experiences.

Our organization, the Japanese subsidiary, is the Japan secretariat of the Edmilson Foundation, established in 2021 by Edmilson Moraes and Yoshitetsu Hayashi. It was founded to support children's dreams, born from Edmilson's strong desire to "create the kind of small 'catalyst' that I received," and Hayashi's experience of facing Japanese children struggling to continue soccer amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan.
With the mission of "having children cherish their 'dreams'," our organization receives support not only from domestic soccer players like Mr. Ruy Ramos but also from Brazilian soccer players. By also engaging in international exchanges, we support the dreams of Japanese children and conduct soccer experience classes and a scholarship system that does not require repayment.
So that joy from soccer experiences connects to hope for all children, and so that many children with dreams can soar out into the world (PARAMUNDO in Portuguese), we will first create opportunities for children to experience things and opportunities to receive support from everyone.
