"Japan and me." Painter Ryo Shinagawa × HIBIKA

Ryo Shinagawa's work "Spring"

“Shikikashi no Mise HIBIKA (Hibika)” is a Western confectionery brand based on the concept of “Japanese Western confectionery.”

“Japan and me.” is an event held at Hankyu Umeda Main Store to rediscover the charm of Japanese nature, technology, and culture.

As part of this initiative, we have created cakes that incorporate a new appeal of “expressing art and drawing inspiration from art,” in collaboration with the works of painter Ryo Shinagawa, who has gained support from the younger generation by expressing traditional Japanese paintings in a contemporary style.

Shinagawa's work "Spring" was created for "Japan and me." We focused on the visual and flavor composition to allow you to feel the signs of spring, softness, and various scattered textures that the work possesses, embodying them in two cakes.

These cakes offer a new kind of enjoyment for both those familiar with Shinagawa's work and HIBIKA fans.
