Notice Regarding Management Structure Changes

ECX Group (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Hiroyuki Tanaka; President: Shohei Shimizu) announced on May 1, 2026, that it has decided to change its management structure and appoint new officers to strengthen group-wide governance and optimize management for the next growth stage.

1. Background and Purpose of Management Changes
Guided by the mission 'Infinite possibilities for Japanese commerce,' ECX Group has provided multifaceted EC support services through Japan EC Services Co., Ltd., Greenwich Co., Ltd., and ecx Co., Ltd. To drive further business expansion and maximize synergies across the group, we are transitioning to a new structure that comprehensively oversees the entire organization. We have determined that consolidating the management functions of each subsidiary into the holding company is essential for building a stronger, more transparent management system.

2. Overview of the New Management Structure
As part of this transition, we have appointed Keisuke Yabunaka to oversee the entire group and strengthen coordination between companies. Mr. Yabunaka has extensive experience in corporate sales and M&A at urban banks, and has served in management planning, new business development, and sales management at HR tech companies, demonstrating a strength in executing strategies from planning to implementation. Furthermore, his experience in launching and operating his own EC business gives him firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by EC operators. He will leverage this expertise to integrate the strengths of Japan EC Services and Greenwich, delivering higher value-added services.

Hiroyuki Tanaka will step down from his concurrent role as subsidiary representative and focus on group management and building governance systems as Representative Director and Chairman of the holding company. He will also leverage his developer perspective to oversee group-wide services and products, continuing his efforts to provide better service to customers.

Shohei Shimizu will step down from his concurrent role as subsidiary representative and lead overall group management strategy and governance design as Representative Director and President. He will continue to work on site for operations such as the 'EC Masters Club,' live streaming, and seminars, ensuring the same quality of support and reliability for customers.
