This event is part of "KokuFes Music Days 2026" and aims to create a space where patients, medical professionals, and local residents can together find "hints for care" that resonate with daily fluctuations and the difficulties of life, through music and art.
■ Background: From the Experience of Losing Words to Coexistence with AI and Music
Hiroshi Kamioka, who has promoted SDGs and environmental activities as the chairman of Ecology Online, experienced "aphasia," a temporary loss of speech, due to a stroke in early 2024. However, he made a remarkable return to work by fully utilizing music and AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Currently, he is also involved in "patient-led research" at the University of Tokyo, and with the new perspective gained from his own disability, he is developing unique activities that fuse disaster prevention and support for persons with disabilities. In this live talk, Kamioka will share his own "story of recovery" and speak about the potential of a society opened up by coexisting with AI.
