Automatic Updates for Top and Content Pages Now Free for All Plans! Rakuten Ichiba Web Service "EC-UP" Significantly Expands Features. Supports More Shops in Boosting Sales Without Additional Charges.

EC Data Bank Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture; Representative Director: Kazuyuki Shimano), which provides automated operation services for online shops, has announced that the automatic update function for top and content pages of its service "EC-UP" will be made available for free to all plans, including the free plan, starting from April 1, 2026 (Wednesday).

EC-UP is a web service for Rakuten Ichiba shops, based on the concept of "not increasing the workload of operation staff, but increasing shop sales." By automatically displaying various information on product pages (including the Rakuten Ichiba app), it contributes to boosting shop sales and reducing staff workload.

Previously, the automatic update function for top and content pages was offered as a paid option for Gold plans and above, or for a monthly fee of 3,000 yen. This function has now been made free for all plans, including the free plan.

On Rakuten Ichiba, there is a significant difference in awareness between shops that actively utilize content pages and those that have not yet created even a single page.

Increasing the number of pages that attract traffic leads to increased sales.

This decision to make the feature free was made with the aim of having more shops utilize it.
