Work Title: "Until the Day We Can Tie the Knot" | Winner: PN Sakyu Hasegawa

Awarded Excellence Prize and Editor-in-Chief's Award (2 titles, 150,000 yen)

◆Editor-in-Chief's Commentary◆

While the art is still rough, I appreciate the sincere attitude towards drawing, attempting to depict a fantasy world in detail. It's good that the composition shows ingenuity by changing angles and including still life, rather than just focusing on close-ups of characters' faces. I feel a cinematic talent.

This work showed the most potential for improvement through continued drawing, so we have decided to award it both the Excellence Prize and the Editor-in-Chief's Award.

Work Title: "For U" | Winner: PN Nasuo

Encouragement Prize (50,000 yen)

◆Editorial Department's Commentary◆

An inexplicable murder, a homeless man with a mysterious past, a battle with a cryptid... The hook is good, and the development is well-organized. On the other hand, I felt that the story shifted from the protagonist boy, who should be close to the reader, to the homeless man being the cool one, which made the protagonist's growth less convincing.

Although rough, the composition and movement in the action scenes are outstanding, and the strong personalities of the characters are particularly impressive, making me look forward to their future work.

Work Title: "Koki-kun and Ai-san" | Winner: PN Towani GIRI

Rookie Award (30,000 yen)

◆Editorial Department's Commentary◆

I could feel the intention to captivate with the "cute" and "cool" expressions and actions of the two girls, and the careful drawing.

While the 10-page format is commendable, I felt that the character development and individuality were somewhat lacking to make readers want to follow the story further, so I hope they will focus on that in the future.

Rookie Award (30,000 yen)

◆Editorial Department's Commentary◆

The charming interactions between the characters and the engaging composition were wonderful. However, I felt that the understanding of the characters remained superficial, making it difficult to immerse myself in the story. I hope they will research character creation and presentation that draws readers in.

Also, while the artwork is generally neat, there is room for growth in drawing skill and composition. I am very much looking forward to their future endeavors.
