We endorse April Dream, a project that aims to make April 1st a day for companies to announce their dreams. This press release represents the dream of Arqs LLC.

Arqs LLC (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative: Haruka Yokohama; hereinafter 'Arqs') aims to train 1,000 administrative staff proficient in AI through its AI-powered back-office support service, 'AI Jimubu'.

## Our Dream: To Train AI-Proficient Administrative Staff

Our goal is to create a society where people with administrative experience can confidently thrive as 'AI-proficient administrative staff,' regardless of location, age, or previous career. As a first step, Arqs will train 1,000 'AI-proficient administrative staff.'

If 1,000 AI-proficient administrative staff are born, business owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be able to concentrate more on their core business. Administrative staff themselves will be able to work more freely, unconstrained by location or time. We are seriously envisioning such a future.

## Why This Dream? The 'Nature' and 'Role' of Work Are Changing

With the expanding adoption of AI, job postings for administrative positions are on a downward trend. According to the latest survey by the Japan Association of Human Resources Agencies (January 2026 data), the number of administrative job advertisements decreased by 47.6% year-on-year, marking the largest decline among all job categories.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that there will be a shortage of up to approximately 790,000 IT professionals responsible for DX and AI by 2030 (METI estimate), and over 80% of companies feel a shortage of IT professionals (IPA survey).

In other words, there is currently an overwhelming shortage of personnel who can handle AI, while traditional administrative personnel are becoming surplus. This 'skill mismatch' is the biggest challenge facing administrative staff.

However, administrative work is not disappearing. What is changing is the 'role' required. On-site rules, human relationships, and work processes—these judgments cannot be made by AI alone.

This intuition forms the foundation for deciding 'where and how to use AI.' By adding AI skills to administrative experience, administrative staff can evolve further. Arqs is confident in this.

## Initiatives Towards Realizing the Dream: Support Possible Because We Understand the Field

Arqs has previously supported the back-office operations of SMEs through its online administrative outsourcing service. Based on the 'on-site challenges' realized through the representative's more than 20 years of accounting and administrative experience, Arqs is now developing 'AI Jimubu,' an AI-powered back-office support business.

The AI Jimubu business consists of online administrative outsourcing, business improvement consulting, and AI implementation support for SMEs, as well as courses for administrative staff.

At its core is the 'Admin × AI Skill Improvement Program,' which enables administrative professionals to acquire the skills to utilize AI in practical work. In this two-month practical course, participants learn 'where AI can be used in this task' by starting from daily operations such as email correspondence, document creation, and data organization using ChatGPT and Google Apps Script.

No programming or AI knowledge is required; anyone with administrative experience can enroll.
