Nankai Electric Railway Group's e-stadium Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroyuki Kato, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is engaged in the planning and operation of e-sports events and facility management, proposing a new lifestyle with e-sports, in order to contribute to solving social issues and revitalizing local communities through e-sports.

We are pleased to announce that the Company, together with KUL Inc. (President: Shigeru Yoshida, hereinafter referred to as "KUL"), will hold an educational virtual event, "Let's Build a Town in Minecraft!! ~Summer Vacation Homework for 1000 Elementary School Students 2026~" from Saturday, July 18, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026.

This event, held with the aim of "child-rearing support" and "next-generation development" as an initiative to solve regional issues, based on KUL's vision of "Designing a Livable Environment," is one of Japan's largest educational events. It has received high praise every year since its first held in 2023, and this year marks its 4th occurrence.

Utilizing the globally popular game title "Minecraft," children will freely build their "dream homes of the future" in a virtual space modeled after the "Izumi-Chuo Station" area in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, where KUL's shopping center "Ecole Izumi" is located. This event aims to increase interest in the region and towns, while fostering the power of "imagination" and "creation" in each child.

In recent years, while digitalization in education has progressed, disparities in "digital experience proficiency" and "device environments" due to home environment and region have emerged as new challenges. In light of this background, this event provides a creative experience using PC devices, which children may have limited opportunities to use, with "Minecraft" as an entry point. By creating opportunities to use digital technology "correctly and creatively," not just "playing," we aim to improve digital literacy regardless of residential area and resolve experiential disparities between regions.
