[e-Guardian Inc.] Launch of Instant SNS Risk Detection Service for Educational Institutions

As a comprehensive internet security company, e-Guardian provides one-stop support for all internet security challenges, including post monitoring, identity verification, ad screening, social listening, and cybersecurity, to ensure safety and security in the digital world. Recently, following the development of generative AI technology in the market, we have also been focusing on the development of IT solutions that utilize AI technology. In recent years, the spread of videos, images, and text documenting bullying or problematic behavior on social media, as well as unintended information leaks, have become significant management risks that directly impact a school's brand and enrollment numbers. Furthermore, with the mandatory establishment of internal control systems under the revised Private Schools Act effective April 2025, school corporations of a certain size (such as those under the jurisdiction of the Minister) are now required to shift their approach to SNS risks—which can lead to financial loss—from mere voluntary efforts to a core corporate compliance issue. Against this backdrop, we have enhanced and launched our "Instant SNS Risk Detection Service" for educational institutions to respond to requests from schools urgently seeking to establish effective systems. This service provides comprehensive support for the unique SNS risks faced by school corporations, focusing on both "prevention" to stop incidents from occurring and "early detection" to prevent the spread of damage after an incident occurs, through the following items: 1. Educational seminars for faculty, staff, and students Raising awareness across the entire organization to deter unintended information leaks and inappropriate posts. 2. Pre-check of content posted by official accounts Establishing and routinizing a system to pre-check content posted by official accounts, such as those for clubs or laboratories, to provide a double layer of security and eliminate the seeds of trouble from within. 3. Regular monitoring of SNS and various platforms Utilizing a sophisticated monitoring system that combines experienced professional operators with AI, we comprehensively monitor platforms such as X and TikTok to quickly detect the spread of nuisance videos by students, bullying, or internal whistleblowing. By enabling prompt educational guidance and responses before situations escalate, we contribute to the development and strengthening of internal control systems and the realization of safe and secure school operations.
