E-Fran Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minatomirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President & CEO: Daisi Kashimura; hereinafter "the Company") has launched its pre-employment training program, the "Early Career Advancement Program," for students who have accepted job offers for graduation in 2027.

The Early Career Advancement Program offered by the Company enables students who have accepted job offers to utilize the period before joining the company to learn fundamental business skills and gain hands-on experience in store operations at "Takakai Kaitori Otakaraya." This training program is designed to help new hires advance their careers quickly. During the first week, participants undergo classroom training, followed by on-the-job training at actual stores under a flexible shift system based on individual preferences. Here, they observe professional appraisers' customer service and real-time client interactions, while also practicing themselves to build practical skills. In the 2026 new graduate recruitment cycle, 28 participants were appointed as store managers immediately upon joining the company, achieving rapid career advancement.

|Introduction of a Performance-Based Incentive System Achieving both "early growth environment development" and "alleviating economic anxieties due to rising living costs"

Starting this year, the Company has newly introduced a "performance-based incentive system" that allows students who have accepted job offers to receive performance-linked compensation just like regular employees, even before their official start date.

This initiative aims to simultaneously achieve "establishing an environment conducive to early growth" and "alleviating financial anxieties caused by inflation." According to data released by JSB Co., Ltd., "approximately 60% of students feel that their lives have become harder due to rising prices" (※1), highlighting the widespread financial stress among students. In response to this social challenge, the Company has introduced the incentive system into its pre-employment training, enabling students to stabilize their livelihoods while gaining a clearer understanding of the Company's corporate culture before joining. This creates an environment that supports high income and rapid growth right from year zero of employment.

Under this system, participants receive monthly performance bonuses based on sales achievements, similar to existing employees, which has been very well received by highly motivated students.

|Revamped "E-POINT System" and Reward Mechanism to Boost Motivation

To further encourage proactive behavior and challenges among students who have accepted job offers, the Company continues and expands its "E-POINT System" this year. This unique point-based motivation program runs from the first day of the Early Career Advancement Program until the official入职 ceremony.

Points are awarded based on attendance and performance, with clear evaluation criteria such as being named Monthly MVP within the program or winning the Best Sales Award (ranking from 1st to 10th place).

Accumulated points are converted into cash at a rate of "1 point = 1,000 yen" and added to the first salary payment after joining the company. This system fosters a developmental and evaluative environment where students with clear goals—such as earning significantly from day one or pursuing new challenges—can proactively plan and execute actions to generate sales.

|Insights from Okada, Executive Officer and Assistant Head of Human Resources The Goals and Transformation Behind the "Early Career Advancement Program"

"Our Early Career Advancement Program is a special preparation period designed to give new hires an exceptional head start. Previously, we provided training with a daily allowance of 10,000 yen. However, every year we saw outstanding pre-joiners who, after just a few months, achieved sales volumes surpassing those of our seasoned employees.

Therefore, starting this year, we have shifted our approach to directly recognize their remarkable performance and results by providing monthly incentives equivalent to those of regular employees. By directly linking on-the-ground achievements to tangible rewards from year zero of employment, we have received extremely positive feedback from participants.

Combined with the "E-POINT System" introduced last year, participants learn to work backward from their desired income or target position to determine how to generate sales. This environment cultivates the ability to understand numbers, identify personal challenges, and take action—the fundamental basics of sales—with a strong sense of ownership while still students. We firmly believe this experience will become a powerful asset not only for building their careers after joining the company but also throughout all future business situations in their lives."

|"Aiming to Become Store Managers Upon Joining"—Real Voices from 2027 Graduates in the Program

Currently, many enthusiastic and highly motivated voices are coming from students who have accepted job offers for 2027 and are actively participating in the Early Career Advancement Program, undergoing training on the front lines. Below are comments from two fresh participants striving daily toward ambitious goals.

【2027 Graduate, Offer Holder Y】

"I was initially anxious about whether I could contribute as a company member, but thanks to thorough training and an environment where asking questions is encouraged, my pre-training anxieties have been resolved. During store training, I've been able to engage in negotiations even as a student, and under accurate and warm guidance, I can clearly feel my growth. Through this program, I've developed a results-oriented mindset and customer-adaptive service skills, significantly upgrading my abilities. Together with peers who inspire mutual improvement, I'm dedicating myself to training with the goal of becoming a store manager immediately upon joining."

【2027 Graduate, Offer Holder A】

"Before training, I was unsure if I could even perform buyback sales, but thanks to classroom sessions, precise pre-negotiation guidance, and a supportive consultation system, those concerns were alleviated. Through practical work, I've learned to think independently about actions that benefit the company rather than waiting for instructions, gaining significant growth and confidence. Seeing high-achieving peers is also a great motivator. Moving forward, I aim to exceed expectations and become a staff member who delivers satisfaction to customers."

|A 2025 Graduate Area Manager on the Value of the Early Career Advancement Program

T, an Area Manager who joined as a 2025 new graduate and advanced rapidly through this program, shared insights about the Early Career Advancement Program.

—When did you start the program, and what was most challenging?

"I joined right after accepting the offer in April. The biggest challenge was mastering brand and product knowledge as a professional. Initially, I felt frustrated due to lack of knowledge, so I diligently studied, checked official brand SNS accounts during commutes, and touched genuine products at authorized stores—practices I maintained consistently for a year. As a result, my conversations with customers deepened, and I was able to significantly increase sales."

—Looking back now, what value did the program bring?

"In one word: 'authentic experience.' Handling responsible store duties before joining allowed me to deeply understand the company, eliminating any post-joining gap and enabling a strong start. My manager at the time sincerely supported me, which became a powerful driving force: 'I want to achieve results quickly and support my juniors.'"

—Please give advice to future 2027 graduates who will participate.

"The E-Fran Early Career Advancement Program is not just a part-time job. It's a one-of-a-kind environment where you're entrusted with actual store operations and can directly generate company revenue. The most important thing here is 'a desire to improve.' Don't leave uncertainties or anxieties unaddressed—keep thinking about how to succeed, actively ask seniors questions, and enhance your abilities. I set clear short-, medium-, and long-term goals such as 'become a store manager upon joining,' 'buy my dream watch by September,' and 'become an Area Manager by April next year,' which clarified my actions during the program. At our company, where opportunities abound even before joining, I encourage you to take action and seize your chances together with us."

|E-Fran's Vision for New Graduate Recruitment and Talent Development

To further expand "Takakai Kaitori Otakaraya," which currently operates over 1,860 stores worldwide (as of June 2026), the Company is strengthening recruitment for both new graduates (2027 and 2028 cohorts) and mid-career hires. Moreover, the Company is a strictly merit-based organization that fairly evaluates employees solely based on ability and results, regardless of age or tenure. As a result, many employees have achieved rapid career advancement shortly after joining—such as being appointed store managers upon joining, becoming managers within six months, rising to Executive Officers in their 20s, or becoming representatives of overseas branches within three years—by leveraging their experiences in the Early Career Advancement Program.

At our Company, students can master the essence of business—the fundamental sales principle of 'accurately understanding numbers, identifying challenges, and taking action'—and achieve extraordinary career growth immediately after joining as new graduates. Moving forward, we will continue to fully support young talents in unleashing their potential and realizing big dreams through comprehensive educational environments and robust reward systems.
