e-dash Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fuyuma Yamazaki; pronounced "e-dash"; hereinafter "the Company"), as part of the "Support for Introduction of Decarbonization Management to SMEs" business commissioned by Fukuoka Prefecture, will hold the "Fukuoka Prefecture First Step to Decarbonization Management. Support Seminar" targeting SMEs in Fukuoka Prefecture on Monday, June 22, 2026 in Fukuoka City and on Thursday, July 9, 2026 in Kitakyushu City. Applications are currently being accepted.

Background: "No time to lose" for decarbonization management for SMEs

The environment surrounding SMEs regarding decarbonization management is changing dramatically, with requirements for listed companies to disclose supply chain emissions (Scope 3), utilization of primary data, and the introduction of a "fossil fuel surcharge" from fiscal 2028, making countermeasures an urgent issue.

This seminar will clearly explain the significance and benefits of SMEs engaging in decarbonization, introduce real examples from local companies already implementing decarbonization actions, and present strong support measures such as subsidies provided by Fukuoka Prefecture, strongly supporting the first step for SMEs in the prefecture. This year, it will be held at two venues in Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City in a hybrid format combining in-person participation and online participation (Zoom webinar).
