Momotani Junteikan Okayama Factory Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Local Gratitude Project: 'Wakē (Wakī) de Bi-hada' Initiative Launches

Momotani Junteikan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President & CEO: Seiichiro Momotani), a company with 141 years of history and a purpose of 'Creating a Beautiful Future for People and the Earth,' celebrates the 30th anniversary of the completion of its Okayama Factory on May 31. To mark this milestone, the company is launching a community contribution project to express gratitude to local residents who have long supported its operations.

This project aims to contribute to building a town where people can comfortably raise children and want to continue living, as well as to create opportunities for residents to grow even more attached to their community. As the first initiative of this project, Momotani Junteikan will co-host the 'Beauty Face WEEK' event with Wakī Ugaidani Onsen in July 2026 and will continue its support for the Wakī Town 'Aiiku Committee and Nutrition Improvement Promotion Committee Activities.'

● Joint project with Wakī Ugaidani Onsen, which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary: Launch of 'Beauty Face WEEK'

③ Ongoing Support for 'Aiiku Committee and Nutrition Improvement Promotion Committee Activities'

The Wakī Town Aiiku Committee and Nutrition Improvement Promotion Committee visit households within the town that have infants aged 5 to 6 months (with consent), providing parenting information, consultation, and gift packages. By building personal relationships with families, the committee works to prevent 'solitary parenting' and supports the creation of a community where parents can raise children with peace of mind. Momotani Junteikan will continue to support this initiative, contributing to the improvement of the local childcare environment.

A representative hot spring facility in Wakī Town, known for its natural hot spring water sourced from approximately 1,500 meters underground. The facility features large baths, open-air baths, saunas, as well as a heated pool and tennis courts. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in November 2025, it has long been cherished by local residents and tourists alike as a community relaxation spot.

Located alongside the Yoshii River, which is fed by the waters of Iwai Taki—a spring selected as one of Japan's 'Top 100 Famous Waters' by the Ministry of the Environment.
