Japan's First "All Face Authentication®" Specification for Senior Residence Achieved

DXYZ Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Nakanishi; hereinafter referred to as "DXYZ") announced that it has decided to introduce "FreeiD," a facial recognition ID platform developed and provided by DXYZ, into "(Tentative Name) Kintetsu Senior Residence Gakken Nara Tomigaoka" (hereinafter referred to as "This Property"), which is being constructed by Kintetsu Real Estate Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kintetsu Real Estate") and is scheduled to open in Spring 2027.

This property will be the first "All Face Authentication®" specification in Japan for a senior residence, with "FreeiD" introduced not only in the common areas but also in the private rooms. In conjunction with this introduction, "FreeiD" and "FAGUS," developed by Aiphone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Tomio Suzuki), will achieve their first system integration.

Background of "FreeiD" Introduction to "(Tentative Name) Kintetsu Senior Residence Gakken Nara Tomigaoka"

This property, constructed by Kintetsu Real Estate and scheduled to open in Spring 2027, is a senior residence with 218 rooms, located a 6-minute walk from Gakken Nara Tomigaoka Station on the Kintetsu Keihanna Line. It features guest rooms ranging from approximately 35㎡ to 143㎡, and common facilities such as a large public bath with an open-air bath and a hotel-operated restaurant, providing a safe, healthy, and vibrant living environment for seniors.

DXYZ is introducing the facial recognition ID platform "FreeiD" to the property's entrance and main doors. This property will feature "All Face Authentication®" not only at the entrance but also for each private room, offering the convenience of entry and exit even with hands full, while achieving high security with cutting-edge facial recognition technology to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

About the Facial Recognition ID Platform "FreeiD"

FreeiD is a facial recognition ID platform that connects living, working, and playing solely through faces. By integrating all IDs such as wallets and identification documents into the face, and enabling entry/exit, payment, and identity verification with a single facial registration, it realizes "Connect the world with just your face.®" without the need for keys or wallets.

It can link with a wide variety of facial recognition AIs, allowing for the provision of optimal facial recognition AI for each usage scenario.

The "FreeiD Mansion" solution provided for multi-unit housing realizes "Live with just your face." by deploying the first "All Face Authentication Mansion®" in Japan that eliminates the need for keys from shared areas like entrances and elevators to individual units (376 buildings completed with FreeiD as of the end of March 2026).

In addition to apartments, facial recognition services are deployed in offices, nursery schools, golf courses, theme parks, etc. Particularly in office services, to realize "Work with just your face," facial recognition is used for employee entry/exit and visitor reception, enabling office operations without employee ID cards. They are also advancing demonstration projects for facial recognition payment "FreeiD Pay" *1 and My Number Card integration services *2.
