## Background of the 'FreeiD' Implementation in the '(Tentative) Kintetsu Senior Residence Gakken Nara Tomigaoka'
This property, constructed by Kintetsu Real Estate and scheduled to open in the spring of 2027, is a 218-room senior residence located a 6-minute walk from Gakken Nara Tomigaoka Station on the Kintetsu Keihanna Line. It features residential units ranging from approximately 35 sq. meters to 143 sq. meters, alongside shared facilities such as a large public bath with an open-air bath and a hotel-operated restaurant, providing a home where seniors can live healthily, vigorously, and with peace of mind.
For this project, DXYZ is introducing the facial recognition ID platform 'FreeiD' to the entrance and front doors of the property. This property will feature the 'All Facial Recognition' specification, implementing 'FreeiD' not just at the entrance but in every private room. This will offer the convenience of allowing residents to enter and exit even with their hands full, while simultaneously maintaining high security through state-of-the-art facial recognition technology, responding to the diversifying needs of our customers.
## About the Facial Recognition ID Platform 'FreeiD'
FreeiD is a facial recognition ID platform that connects living, working, and playing using only your face. It integrates all forms of ID, such as wallets and ID cards, into the face, enabling access, payment, and identity verification with a single facial registration, realizing a world where 'Everything connects with just your face' without the need for keys or wallets.
Because it can integrate with a wide variety of facial recognition AIs, it can provide the optimal facial recognition AI for every use case.
In the 'FreeiD Mansion' solution provided for collective housing, we are rolling out Japan's first 'All Facial Recognition Mansion' that requires absolutely no keys from shared areas like entrances and elevators to each private room, realizing 'Living with just your face' (376 FreeiD-installed buildings completed as of the end of March 2026).
In addition to apartments, we are deploying facial recognition services in offices, nursery schools, golf courses, theme parks, etc. Particularly in our office services, to realize 'Working with just your face', we aim to improve the office environment for employees
