Dwango Co., Ltd. will launch the official website "Sho Nakata" (https://sheeta.jp/sho-nakata/) for former professional baseball player Sho Nakata, using its next-generation fan community system "sheeta," on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

To commemorate the launch, the first live stream will be held from 7 PM on Saturday, April 18.

Sho Nakata is a former professional baseball player who joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in 2007 as a first-round high school draft pick. He became one of Japan's leading sluggers, winning the RBI title three times and participating in the WBC. After retiring from active play in 2025, he has been active as a baseball commentator and TV personality since 2026.

This site, established as a new hub for interaction with fans, will offer live streams, videos, blogs, and photo galleries for members, as well as birthday emails. Two plans are available: the "Standard Plan" for enjoying all content, and the "Kids Plan" for viewing some content. In a special campaign, 66 early registrants who join by Saturday, June 6 (in honor of his jersey number "6"), will be selected by lottery to receive an autographed shikishi (colored paper).

The first live stream on April 18 will feature a Q&A session to interact with viewers, and a member-exclusive segment will include a special project celebrating Nakata's birthday (April 22) and a corner where future member benefits will be decided by comments. Additionally, 6 viewers who post a keyword, announced at the end of the broadcast, in the program's comment section during the stream will be selected by lottery to receive a signed baseball.

┃Comment from Sho Nakata

I'm Sho Nakata.

Thank you for always supporting me.

Even after retiring from active play last year, I've been able to take on various jobs thanks to all of you. I've also started new challenges that I couldn't do when I was an active player, and I've received many messages from my fans.

As one of those initiatives, I've decided to launch an official website and membership, primarily for interaction with my fans.

We will have much deeper interactions than before, so please join me and let's enjoy these activities together.
