DUSKIN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Hiroyuki Okubo) will introduce a new construction method, the 'Foam Application Method,' nationwide from April 1, 2026*, for its Terminix business (pest and animal control and comprehensive hygiene management, hereinafter referred to as Terminix) in its 'Termite Control Service,' allowing workers to perform treatments without crawling under floors.
*Some stores may not offer this service.
In recent years, as homes become more barrier-free, the number of residences with low underfloor heights has increased. In such homes, traditional underfloor work for termite control has become increasingly difficult, creating a demand for new construction methods that can accommodate diverse housing structures.
Furthermore, underfloor work is a significant burden for workers. From the perspective of stabilizing construction quality and improving the working environment, we have been considering the introduction of a method that allows chemical spraying without crawling under floors.
The 'Foam Application Method' being introduced this time solves these challenges, realizing a more efficient and worker-safe termite control and prevention method. By vigorously spraying chemical foam from a dedicated foaming machine to fill the entire underfloor area in a short time, it shortens working hours, suppresses the inflow of underfloor odors and dust into the room, and enables visualization of the chemical's reach.
Terminix positions this 'Foam Application Method' as a new step and aims to achieve a service system where 'no-crawl construction' becomes the standard in the future. The introduction of the 'Foam Application Method' is the first step in our efforts to pursue safer and more efficient construction methods, and we will continue to provide services that adapt to changes in living environments.
Features of the 'Foam Application Method'
・No musty smell characteristic of underfloors
Since the foaming machine is attached and applied with the inspection port sealed by a dedicated panel, odors from under the floor are less likely to spread into the room.

・No dust stirred up from under the floor
Since foam is sprayed in a sealed state, dust rarely flows into the room.

・Work completed in a short time
Compared to conventional methods that require entering under the floor, work is completed in a shorter time.
・Ability to confirm chemical distribution on the spot
When foam fills the underfloor area and overflows near the farthest ventilation opening, the chemical's reach can be visually confirmed.

Termite Control Service Overview
① Barrier Method
*The effect of the chemical lasts for 5 years. During the warranty period, a free housing check is conducted once a year to monitor for recurrence.
・Conventional Construction
A method of extermination and prevention where workers directly crawl under the floor and spray low-odor chemicals with safety in mind.
・Foam Application Method *Introduced nationwide from April 1st*
A method where low-odor chemicals, designed with safety in mind, are turned into foam and spread throughout every corner of the underfloor area. Since the foaming machine is installed and applied with the inspection port sealed by a dedicated panel, underfloor dust, mold, and odors are less likely to be stirred up, and the chemical does not scatter.
*Some stores may not offer this service.
② Bait Method
This is a termite control method that does not involve spraying chemicals. Bait agents that termites prefer to eat are placed in dedicated containers, buried in the ground, and carried back to the nest for extermination. Since no chemicals are sprayed, it is safe for households with small children and pets.
・Barrier Method (Conventional Construction / Foam Application Method)
2,475 yen (tax included) per m²
*However, for first-floor floor areas up to 50m² (approx. 15 tsubo), a flat rate of 123,750 yen (tax included) applies.
・Bait Method
Station installation fee + management fee (per 1m of building perimeter): 4,092 yen (tax included)
Station usage fee + management fee (per 1m of building perimeter): 132 yen (tax included)
