DUSKIN Terminix Introduces "Foam Application" as a New Termite Control Method Nationwide from April 1, Preventing Technicians from Crawling Under Floors

DUSKIN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, President: Hiroyuki Okubo), through its Terminix business (pest control and comprehensive sanitation management, hereinafter "Terminix"), will introduce a new construction method, "Foam Application," nationwide starting April 1, 2026, for its "Termite Control Service." This new method allows technicians to perform the work without having to crawl under the floor.

In recent years, as homes become more barrier-free, the number of residences with low underfloor heights has increased. In such homes, traditional underfloor work for termite control has become increasingly difficult, creating a demand for new construction methods that can accommodate diverse housing structures.

Furthermore, underfloor work is also a heavy burden for technicians. From the perspective of stabilizing construction quality and improving the working environment, we have been considering introducing a method that allows pesticide application without crawling under the floor.

The "Foam Application" method, introduced this time, solves these challenges and realizes more efficient and safety-conscious termite control and prevention. By powerfully spraying chemical foam from a dedicated foaming machine and filling the entire underfloor space in a short time, it shortens working hours, suppresses the inflow of underfloor odors and dust into rooms, and makes the chemical's reach visible.

Terminix positions this "Foam Application" as a new step, aiming to establish a service system where "non-underfloor application" becomes the standard in the future. The introduction of "Foam Application" is the first step in our efforts to pursue safer and more efficient construction methods, and we will continue to provide services that adapt to changes in living environments.
