Background of Participation in This Project
In recent years, the risk of heatstroke due to extreme summer heat has become a social issue, and appropriate heat management, especially for outdoor and on-site work, is strongly required. "Cool down isesaki," undertaken by Isesaki City, which recorded the highest temperature in Japanese observation history at 41.8°C on August 5, Reiwa 7 (2025), is an advanced project that promotes regional heat countermeasures in collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Our company, which has jointly developed heatstroke countermeasure AI cameras, has launched the new heatstroke countermeasure service "GoANZEN" to solve the pressing social issue of heatstroke risk with technology, and has developed the GoANZEN sensor WBGT (hereinafter referred to as "sensor WBGT") and GoANZEN cloud heatstroke countermeasures (hereinafter referred to as "cloud"). We submitted a business proposal with the hope that our technology could contribute to the safety of Isesaki citizens and those working on-site in this project, leading to our participation.
Features of the Heatstroke Countermeasure Service "GoANZEN"
"GoANZEN" measures temperature, humidity, and radiant heat at each site with sensor WBGT, manages and visualizes the data in the cloud. It is a service that enables "proactive heat management" by automatically alerting sites.
Sensor WBGT: Easy Installation Anywhere
Sensors installed at each site measure the accurate heat index (WBGT) of that location in real-time. Installation is hassle-free, allowing for immediate operation.
Smooth On-site Safety Management with Automatic Alerts
When danger is predicted, the cloud automatically sends an alert to the site. It supports appropriate actions before it's too late, such as prompting hydration or deciding to suspend work.
Significantly Reduces Administrator Burden
Automated measurement and notification greatly reduce the time and effort administrators previously spent on patrols, manual measurements, and communication, achieving both operational efficiency and reliable safety management.
Main Initiatives
Using "GoANZEN," the city will not only be able to remotely check WBGT at various locations in Isesaki City in real-time but also provide real-time information to citizens.
[Initiative Details]
1 Install sensor WBGT at multiple locations within Isesaki City
2 Aggregate and visualize measurement data from the sensor WBGT installed at the above locations on the cloud.
Real-time public release to citizens through the following media, etc.:
・Dissemination on the Isesaki City website and social media

◼︎ Comment from the Business Manager of DUMSCO Inc.'s "GoANZEN"
Shigeyoshi Niike, CEO of DUMSCO Inc.
With the mission of "Designing Sustainable Performance," our company is engaged in heatstroke countermeasures utilizing the technology unique to an IT company. We are greatly honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the people of Isesaki City through this project, and we will strive to realize initiatives that lead Japan and the world from Isesaki, the hottest city in Japan, in overcoming extreme heat.
◼︎ Comment from the Person in Charge of Isesaki City's "Cool down isesaki"
On August 5, Reiwa 7 (2025), our city recorded 41.8°C, the highest temperature in Japan, becoming the "hottest city in Japan." To protect our citizens from such heat, we are undertaking various heat countermeasures as an administration, aiming to become the "most heat-resistant city in Japan."
To create a vibrant city that can overcome severe heat, it is essential for not only the administration but also citizens, companies, and organizations to work together on heat countermeasures. Therefore, we launched the public-private co-creation project "Cool down isesaki" to solicit ideas and know-how for heat countermeasures from private companies and collaborate with the administration for business development. We will continue to promote the creation of a heat-resistant city with the public and private sectors working as one.
