Connec.t Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Jun Oguchi; hereinafter 'the company') and NO NAME DISTILLERY, the project team developing 'YORI,' a sustainable gin that utilizes regional ingredients from across Japan to address social challenges, are pleased to announce that 'OSAKIKAMIJIMA YORI' has received an exceptionally high score of 96 points at the 2026 edition of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC)—one of the world’s three major spirits competitions and the largest distilled spirits judging event—earning the highest accolade, 'Double Gold,' for the second consecutive year.

About the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC)

The SFWSC is one of the world’s three most prestigious spirits competitions and a globally renowned spirits judging event. Established in 2000, it is held annually in San Francisco, USA. Judging follows strict criteria, with awards given in four categories: 'Double Gold' (highest honor), 'Gold,' 'Silver,' and 'Bronze.' The 'Double Gold' award is especially prestigious, granted only when all judges unanimously assign a gold medal rating.

We are deeply proud to have received the 'Double Gold' award for the second year in a row.

YORI has identified underutilized ingredients from six regions across Japan and transformed them into new value through gin. It is truly gratifying to see YORI introduced once again on a global stage among the world’s top-tier spirits, and to hear the name 'Ozakikamijima' recognized internationally.

Moving forward, we will continue to uncover hidden ingredients across Japan, infuse them with new value, and share our initiatives globally—from Japan to the world—fostering circular regional economies.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in production and to all our fans who continue to support us.
