Yumetenbo was established in 1998 and began its e-commerce business selling products over the internet. In 2005, it fully launched a mobile mail-order business handling fashion products for young women and has since expanded its business scale. Subsequently, recognizing the growth potential of smartphones early on, the company focused on mobile e-commerce that maximizes their characteristics. By May 2015, the company had grown to the point where sales via smartphones accounted for approximately 85% of total sales.
