DouZin Inc. (Headquarters: 1-8-8 Nakasaka, Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative Director: Hideto Oma) will launch the beta version of its manga and illustration commission service, 'GreenHorn,' on April 4, 2026.

GreenHorn is a service that creates your unique story by connecting the desire to 'be drawn' with the talent to 'draw' in a secure environment. It offers a new system to change the culture of manga creation requests.

This service is not only a platform connecting manga artists/illustrators with clients (companies/individuals) but also an integrated platform specialized for manga production, incorporating 'progress management,' 'clarification of contract terms,' and a 'multi-functional portfolio that leads to work.'

Development Background In recent years, while requests for illustrations have been increasing through social media and commission services, particularly in manga production, challenges such as the difficulty of communicating revision instructions, lack of transparency in pricing and processes, occurrence of troubles, and difficulty for creators to monetize have become apparent.

GreenHorn was born out of these changing times and challenges after approximately one year of development. It is designed as a system to securely facilitate 'creation requests between individuals,' which have been ambiguous until now. The service was also featured on the business program 'Reiwa no Tora', receiving a significant response.

(Video from 'Reiwa no Tora' appearance (released August 2025, approx. 1 million views as of March 2026)) ■Test Marketing Results Prior to the official release, test operations were conducted in a closed environment using Discord, and numerous manga production projects were successfully completed. As a result, posts on X (formerly Twitter) have garnered over 600,000 impressions. This has completed the verification of the product as 'actually usable.'

What is 【GreenHorn】?

【GreenHorn】is a 'bulletin board-style commission service' specializing in manga production. Clients can post projects via the bulletin board, and creators can apply and accept jobs. Direct commissions are also possible from the creator's profile page, without going through the bulletin board. Unlike traditional DM-based communication, it is characterized by its ability to complete the entire process from finding a creator to commissioning and delivery on a single platform.

Main Functional Features (as of March 2026) ① Matching & Progress Management Specialized for Manga Production (For Clients) Manage progress and fees for each stage of manga production (e.g., rough draft, sketching, inking). Smooth production progress is achieved based on the stages and fee structures set by each creator. Chat and notification functions necessary for consultations are also implemented.

② Profile Function 'Leads to Work' (For Creators) Create a professional profile that can be completed on one page. In addition to portfolio functions focusing on viewers and tags, [Fee Schedule, Work Examples, Specialty Genres, Schedule, Rights Management, Progress Management] can be managed centrally, designed to accommodate direct commissions and corporate projects. Features for sharing links and QR codes are also implemented, allowing for use beyond transactions within GreenHorn.

③ Revision Instruction Visualization Function (For Clients) Visually communicate 'revision instructions,' which are the most difficult part of manga production. Optimized for practical use in production sites, it enables smooth communication even for clients who cannot draw, by combining it with the chat function. The number of revisions and the scope of revisions will also be clearly defined in the contract format beforehand.

④ AI Learning Countermeasure Function (For Creators) Set AI learning permission on a per-profile basis. This also takes into account the protection of creators' rights.

⑤ Hybrid Design of Bulletin Board + Direct Commission (For Clients) Supports both posting projects on the bulletin board and direct commissions to creators, providing a flexible commissioning experience. The bulletin board is mainly for recruiting a large number of unspecified creators when you want to commission a creator who meets certain conditions. Direct commissions allow you to individually commission your favorite creators. Since the commission details are organized in advance, even first-time manga commissioners can use the service with peace of mind.

Positioning in the AI Era Amidst the rise of generative AI, GreenHorn deliberately places value on 'creations born from the feelings of people.' This is creation rooted in art, relationships, and culture, not efficiency or mass production.

Future Prospects GreenHorn aims to become the 'standard infrastructure' for manga and illustration production. Moving forward, along with refining the service, - Expansion of achievements and projects - Enhancement of creator support functions - Global expansion are planned. ■Message Manga is a culture that Japan should be proud of to the world. And we believe that creative activities should become freer and more valuable, especially in this era.

To bring to life as creations the individual feelings and concepts that could not be realized before, and the wish to 'be drawn'. GreenHorn is a service to realize 'a world where creators are fairly evaluated and find work' and 'a world where clients can confidently commission creations'. ■Service Information Service Name: GreenHorn Beta Release Date: April 4, 2026 (Scheduled) LP: https://lp.greenhorn.app/ X: https://x.com/Douzin_Inc Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@DouZin_Inc ■Company Profile Company Name: DouZin Inc.
