Travel the Setouchi Area with Beans: The Souvenir "Setomame"

DOSHISHA Co., Ltd. (Osaka Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Masayuki Nomura, hereinafter referred to as DOSHISHA), which plans, develops, and sells lifestyle-related products, will launch "Setomame," a new souvenir that expresses Setouchi area specialties and local gourmet foods as bean snacks, on July 1, 2026 (Wed.) at 16 souvenir shops in the Setouchi area and 4 online sites.

The Setouchi area boasts numerous attractive food cultures nurtured by its rich nature and mild climate. However, it is not easy for travelers to visit each region and enjoy its flavors within a limited time.

"Setomame" embodies the concept of "a souvenir to travel the Setouchi area with beans," packing the flavors of Setouchi's specialties and local tastes into bite-sized bean snacks. We propose a new local souvenir that allows you to enjoy the fun of traveling around Setouchi in one box.

This product won an award at the "4th Setouchi Souvenir Grand Prix." It will be sold at 16 souvenir shops within Okayama Station, Kurashiki Station, Fukuyama Station, Onomichi Station, Hiroshima Station, Shin-Yamaguchi Station, Tokuyama Station, Takamatsu Station, Matsuyama Station, Kochi Station, and Tokushima Station, as well as on 4 online sites.

Package design expressing the beautiful scenery of Setouchi

The package for "Setomame" is designed to evoke the serene landscape of the Seto Inland Sea.

The Setouchi area retains many beautiful coastlines selected as one of the "100 Best White Sand and Green Pine Beaches of Japan." The tetra-shaped individual packaging, combining clear material and light blue, expresses the shimmering waves reflecting sunlight. The entire box is inspired by the continuous panorama of Setouchi's white sandy beaches, blue sea, and sky. The design is finished to evoke the scenery of Setouchi and the lingering feeling of a journey from the moment you pick it up.
