Doshisha, a company specializing in the planning, development, and sales of lifestyle goods, launched the 'LED Compact Ceiling Light Vitz nano' under its 'Luminous LED' lighting brand on June 9, 2026. Background of Development: Driven by international mercury regulations, the production and trade of general-purpose fluorescent lighting are scheduled to cease by the end of 2027, accelerating the transition to LED. Following the success of the 'Vitz nano' released in May 2025, the company developed this new compact model equipped with color-changing capabilities and indirect lighting, catering to areas requiring subtle illumination such as hallways, stairs, restrooms, and closets.
