Dooox Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Ryosuke Kuboji; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates "Tokumei Shachoshitsu" (Special Presidential Office) to support business owners with "urgent but important issues," held a "Generative AI Workshop for Business Owners" on Friday, June 5, 2026. The event was hosted by the Tottori Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Location: Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture; President: Koji Hirai). Approximately 30 business operators and management personnel from Tottori Prefecture participated, spending 3.5 hours operating the latest generative AI tools themselves while working on solutions for their business challenges.

■ Accelerating Generative AI Utilization Support in Tottori Prefecture

The Company established a base within SANDBOX TOTTORI in Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, in September 2025 and continues its business development within the prefecture.

This workshop at the Tottori Chamber of Commerce and Industry was realized with the aim of providing access to generative AI for a wide range of local businesses, regardless of industry or scale, through collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which plays a central role in the regional economy. By being hosted by a local economic organization, it provided an opportunity for businesses that had previously felt "interested in AI but didn't know where to start" to take a first step.

In regional small and medium-sized enterprises, it is the business owners themselves who most often make decisions about AI adoption.

Therefore, this workshop emphasizes a practical format where all participants operate their own PCs, rather than just listening.

■ Track Record of Generative AI Workshops Expanding Nationwide

The Company has been developing generative AI utilization workshops in collaboration with various partners across the country.

Collaboration with Chambers of Commerce and Economic Organizations: Urayasu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, etc.

Collaboration with Public Investment Institutions: Jointly held "Generative AI Workshop for Business Owners" with Tokyo Small and Medium Business Investment Co., Ltd. and Osaka Small and Medium Business Investment Co., Ltd. at five locations: Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kyoto, and Yonago (Tottori Prefecture). Over 70 business owners and management personnel participated in total over approximately six months.

In-house Workshops Hosted by Companies: Conducted for tenant companies of Tennoz Central Tower and individual companies.

Notably, in May 2026, in collaboration with Osaka Small and Medium Business Investment Co., Ltd., the first "Generative AI Workshop for Business Owners" in the San'in region was held at the Yonago Convention Center, receiving positive feedback from business owners in both Tottori and Shimane prefectures.

Through these nationwide initiatives, participants' approaches to AI are gradually shifting from "learning by listening" to "using by touching," and then to "deepening through repeated touching." This workshop in Tottori is an initiative to deliver this accumulated knowledge to businesses in Tottori Prefecture, originating from the local area.

■ Day's Highlights

The first half included explanations of the latest trends in generative AI and demonstrations of major tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Participants experienced the current scope of generative AI by operating their own PCs, covering text, image, video, and audio generation.

The second half involved a workshop where participants delved into their respective business challenges using generative AI. By inputting their company's issues and engaging in dialogue with the AI, they created concrete outputs on the spot. The design aimed for participants to leave with a sense of "usable tomorrow" rather than just "it was interesting."

Key concerns for business owners regarding AI adoption, such as security and information leakage, were also explained with specific examples, providing perspectives necessary for realistic adoption decisions.

■ Future Outlook

Taking this initiative with the Tottori Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a catalyst, the Company will further expand its partnerships with economic organizations, local governments, and financial institutions both within and outside the prefecture. While rooting itself in the region as a business operator based in Tottori, the Company aims to continue providing generative AI as a practical option for addressing unique regional management challenges such as labor shortages and productivity improvement.

To achieve this, through its management support service "Tokumei Shachoshitsu®" and the "Tokumei AI Shuzukyo" (Tokumei AI Intensive Dojo) program for building proprietary AI tools in two days, the Company will provide support for each company through the stages of adoption and internal integration, beyond the workshop itself.
