dodoAI Inc. Raises JPY 280 Million in Seed Round to Accelerate Development of Sovereign Agentic OS "dodoAI"

dodoAI Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hitoshi Murakami) has changed its company name from 58 Inc. to "dodoAI Inc." effective June 1, 2026, and has raised a total of JPY 280 million in a seed round led by Genesia Ventures.

Partners include Quantum Leap Ventures, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Capital, and Hideki Otsuka (CEO of Speee Inc.).

The company develops and provides the Sovereign Agentic OS "dodoAI" for safely and continuously operating AI agent-driven tasks under corporate governance.

1. About the Funding The company raised a total of JPY 280 million in a seed round led by Genesia Ventures. The investors are as follows: - Genesia Ventures (Lead Investor) - Quantum Leap Ventures - Mitsubishi UFJ Capital - Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Capital - Hideki Otsuka (CEO, Speee Inc.)

The funds will be allocated to three key areas: - Accelerating dodoAI product development: Enhancing the features of the Sovereign Agentic OS "dodoAI" and strengthening production-level availability, security, and audit compliance for highly regulated domains such as finance, manufacturing, communications, and energy. - Strengthening engineering talent acquisition: Reinforcing the engineering team with a focus on AI agent architecture, distributed systems, and security. Promoting the expansion of the development structure at its Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam location in addition to its Tokyo headquarters. - Expanding the enterprise business development structure: Building an implementation and operational support system for the Sovereign Agentic OS "dodoAI" and accelerating its deployment for highly regulated domains.

2. About the Company Name Change Since its establishment as "58 Inc." in May 2022, the company has developed and provided the Sovereign Agentic OS "dodoAI." Recognizing that dodoAI has evolved into the company's core product through collaboration with enterprise clients, the company will change its name to "dodoAI Inc." on June 1, 2026, to align its name with the value it provides.

Existing contracts will remain valid, and invoices will be gradually switched to the new company name from June 18, 2026.
