NTT Docomo (hereinafter referred to as Docomo) held a special event with the full cooperation of "Yoshimoto Makuhari Aeon Mall Theater" on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Yoshimoto Makuhari Aeon Mall Theater. This was part of the "Docomo Mirai Field," a project creating opportunities for children to experience various professional worlds, helping them find important life lessons and dreams.
"Docomo Mirai Field" is one of the three main pillars, alongside "Docomo Mirai Museum" and "Docomo Mirai Lab," within the "Docomo Mirai Project," which supports children stepping into the future by providing exciting experiences. Thus far, with the cooperation of numerous partners such as the National Museum of Nature and Science, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, soccer club RB Omiya Ardija, and the Ohashi Boxing Gym where Naoya Inoue belongs, Docomo has provided venues to experience the "professional worlds" of various genres.
On the day of the event, 30 pairs/a total of 60 elementary school children (grades 1 to 6) and their guardians, selected by lottery from a large number of applicants, participated. Special guests included Yoshimoto comedians Hiking Walking, Regular, Joyman, Okazu Club, and Hiroyuki Mc-II. They conducted a special program where participants could feel the professional workplace firsthand, including a backstage tour of areas normally off-limits and a manzai experience standing on stage with the comedians. Additionally, the first-ever online program for "Docomo Mirai Field" was held this time. A total of 96 children from 1st grade elementary to 3rd grade junior high school, along with their guardians from all over the country, participated across two online sessions. In this attempt to deliver the experience to many children overcoming location constraints, "Can you do Joyman's Rap! ~in Yoshimoto Makuhari Aeon Mall Theater~" was implemented. Through both in-person and online programs, it became a precious time for many children to touch the "professional world of comedy."
### In-Person Program
### ■ Backstage Tour Guided by Hiroyuki Mc-II
The children gathered at the Yoshimoto Makuhari Aeon Mall Theater, their hearts filled with excitement at the prospect of meeting the comedians they admire. After the orientation, the backstage tour guided by Hiroyuki Mc-II immediately began.
The children were thrilled to see unique props used in routines, piles of snacks prepared for comedians waiting for their turn, comic books, and kotatsu (heated tables).
