Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) and BIPROGY Co., Ltd. will begin offering the 'Environmental Value Utilization CN (Carbon Neutral) Support Service' on June 18, 2026, a comprehensive solution to support companies in achieving carbon neutrality.

This service organizes corporate efforts toward carbon neutrality into five processes, with both companies collaborating to provide the necessary solutions at each stage. It supports the visualization, reduction, utilization of environmental value, and disclosure of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, enabling continuous and effective initiatives.

【Background and Objectives】

As climate change mitigation becomes a critical global issue, corporate environmental responsibilities are growing increasingly complex, including the full-scale launch of the Emissions Trading Scheme (GX-ETS) in April 2026 and mandatory disclosure of climate-related information in securities reports under the SSBJ standards. With these regulatory developments, companies are required to accurately calculate and disclose GHG emissions across their entire supply chain. Additionally, stakeholders such as business partners and investors are increasingly requesting emission data and reduction initiatives, raising the importance of carbon neutrality across companies of all sizes.

Meanwhile, many companies face a shortage of personnel with the specialized knowledge required to achieve carbon neutrality, leading to visible challenges such as 'not knowing where to start' or 'inability to establish an execution framework.' Companies can select the services they need based on their specific challenges and progress toward carbon neutrality.

1. Preparation

To advance corporate carbon neutrality initiatives, DNP offers the 'Carbon Neutral Promotion Diagnostic Program,' supporting current status analysis and the formulation of policies and promotion plans. Dedicated specialists will work alongside clients for six months to assist in concretizing initiatives and building implementation frameworks.

2. Understand

To enable specific reduction measures such as material changes and manufacturing process improvements, DNP and BIPROGY support GHG emission calculations across products, organizations, and supply chains. They also handle system implementation and operation for efficient calculation, as well as data collection and input tasks. This enables more precise GHG emission calculations for clients.

3. Reduce

BIPROGY provides a solar power generation and surplus prediction service*2. By forecasting solar power generation and surplus output in 30-minute intervals, the service promotes the adoption of on-site Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and facilitates the utilization of surplus electricity. This contributes to effective use of renewable energy and reduced reliance on fossil fuel-based power, supporting corporate GHG emission reductions.

4. Offset

After implementing GHG emission reductions, carbon offsetting is an effective method for addressing emissions that are difficult to eliminate. BIPROGY offers its environmental value management service 'Re:lvis®' *3, which streamlines the procurement, bidding, and allocation of non-fossil certificates required for corporate carbon offsetting, reducing the administrative burden associated with certificate management.

5. Disclosure

Appropriate information disclosure is essential for building trust with stakeholders in carbon neutrality initiatives.
