DNP Launches "TEAM NEXT 2025" Project to Inherit Co-creation Network from Osaka-Kansai Expo

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) is launching a new project, "TEAM NEXT 2025," with partner companies to inherit the co-creation network built with companies and organizations through the "TEAM EXPO 2025" program*1, an initiative at the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo), and connect it to solving social and regional issues and urban development. In "TEAM NEXT 2025," DNP will take the lead, collaborating with various companies and organizations to promote co-creation projects that lead to the revitalization of cities, the promotion of tourism and culture, and the creation of new business opportunities.

Prior to the launch of this project, as part of "Inheriting the Legacy of the Osaka-Kansai Expo," one of the six themes, a kickoff event focusing on "co-creation" with sponsoring companies and organizations for the "International Horticultural Expo 2027 (GREEN×EXPO 2027)" will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

【About "TEAM NEXT 2025"】

This project aims to develop the co-creation framework cultivated at the Osaka-Kansai Expo into continuous activities even after its closing. At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, the "TEAM EXPO 2025" program was developed, where diverse participants co-created a future society. Its achievements and network will be passed on to "TEAM NEXT 2025." The name embodies the idea of connecting the network formed and the results of co-creation from "TEAM EXPO 2025" to future initiatives.

At the start of the project, activities will be promoted primarily by the following companies and organizations. We plan to expand the number of participating companies and organizations in the future.

■ Main Objectives and Activities of TEAM NEXT 2025

"TEAM NEXT 2025" is a project where participating companies and organizations share their challenges and visions to materialize six co-creation themes.

1. Urban Revitalization, Integrated Resorts, and MICE*2 Promotion in the Osaka-Kansai Area

In urban and area redevelopment, we aim to consider and implement content and themes based on the characteristics of each area.

2. Creation and Nurturing of New Industries and Technologies

We aim to create businesses that solve social and regional issues by collaborating with startup companies in fields such as sustainability, education, finance, and information.

3. Enhancement of Regional Brand Power Utilizing Art, Tourism, and Cultural Resources

We will promote initiatives that contribute to tourism promotion and the enhancement of regional brand power by utilizing art and unique regional cultural resources.

4. Human Resource Development and Materialization of Co-creation Themes through Collaboration with Educational and Research Institutions

We will collaborate with universities and research institutions to promote human resource development and the materialization of business co-creation themes.

5. Establishment and Development of Regional Ecosystems

Diverse stakeholders, including companies, organizations, and local governments, will collaborate across public and private sectors to promote the creation of a foundation for regional co-creation.

6. Inheritance of the Legacy of the Osaka-Kansai Expo

We will pass on cutting-edge technologies and services, and co-creation foundations introduced at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, to future international events and cities/regions.
