DMTC, based at the University of Tokyo's Institute of Industrial Science, has opened registration for its practical disaster prevention training programs to be held from May to June 2026. The courses focus on developing on-site judgment and execution skills, including risk communication, condominium disaster prevention, and emergency operations center (EOC) management. A disaster survival camp for middle and high school students is also planned.

What is truly required during a disaster is not just 'knowledge,' but the ability to make accurate judgments and take action on the ground. DMTC (Disaster Management Training Center), based at the University of Tokyo's Institute of Industrial Science, provides practical training on themes such as emergency operations center (EOC) management, risk communication, and shelter operations.
