The workshop featured influencer Takechi as an instructor, covering both lecture and practical sessions on 'the video production process' and 'techniques to attract viewers on social media,' receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback with 100% participant satisfaction.

About the Kadoma Charm Promotion Team

The Kadoma Charm Promotion Team is a citizen-led PR group dedicated to promoting the appeal of Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture, through Instagram.

The team aims to discover and widely share the lesser-known charms of Kadoma City, increasing awareness among residents and non-residents alike and encouraging visits (including relocation and settlement). Additionally, the team's activities themselves are intended to become a new attraction for the city.

Since launching its account approximately four months ago, the team has achieved 5,267 followers (as of June 15, 2026).

The team shares authentic local charm—people, shops, events, scenery, and objects—known only to Kadoma residents and those who love the city.

Team members include ten local residents selected through public recruitment, as well as students from Setsunan University and Osaka International University, forming a collaborative structure involving government, academia, and citizens.

With support from DMM and an operations office specializing in social media marketing, the team shares information from the unique perspective of those who know Kadoma best.

Workshop: Learning Video Production from Concept to Editing with Influencer Takechi

The workshop, held in June 2026, took place at 'Kadomado, Kadoma City Library of Culture and Creation,' a new facility that had just opened in May of the same year.

Rather than a theoretical lecture, the workshop adopted a hands-on format, allowing participants to experience the entire video production process—from planning and shooting to editing and finalizing—using just a smartphone.

Held in a fully glass-walled meeting room, the workshop attracted attention from other library visitors and created an energetic atmosphere.

After the lecture, participants split into teams to shoot and edit videos both inside and outside the library, then viewed the completed videos together. Immediate feedback from the instructor provided valuable, professional insights that participants might not have noticed themselves. Teams also exchanged advice, creating an environment conducive to knowledge sharing.

The 'Kadoma Charm Promotion Team,' which surpassed 5,267 followers (as of June 15) just months after launching in February 2026, will continue to leverage the practical video production skills and marketing perspectives gained in this workshop. Through collaboration among citizens, universities, businesses, and government, the team will promote Kadoma City's appeal.
