■ Background and Purpose of the Acquisition
"Mycalinks" was launched in April 2023 as a one-stop app for trading card collection management, market price checking, and e-commerce purchases, celebrating its third anniversary this year. Since its launch, it has covered major genres such as Pokémon Cards, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Duel Masters, and One Piece Card Game, gaining strong user support and achieving the No. 1 download count among domestic trading card management apps (※1).
The DMM Group possesses business know-how and technological capabilities cultivated through operating over 60 services, as well as a membership base of 51.46 million people (as of February 2025). In the rapidly growing trading card market, we are confident that by combining Myca's "track record in operating a trading card management app" with DMM's "overwhelming platform power," we can provide even greater convenience and new value to users, leading to this acquisition.
Moving forward, we aim to create a unique platform for trading card fans by maximizing synergies with various services offered on the DMM platform, including ID linkage with DMM accounts and the introduction of DMM Points.
