Walt Disney Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will grand open the "Disney Store Kyoto Porta" inside Kyoto Porta in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, on Tuesday, April 28. To commemorate the opening, the store will release limited-edition items and conduct gift campaigns. ### **■ A special store design incorporating Kyoto's unique "Wa" (Japanese style), based on the concept of "a magical dream world enchanted by Disney"!** The new store's design is based on the concept of a magical dream world enchanted by Mickey Mouse, dressed as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and is adorned with "Wa" (Japanese) elements. At the entrance, a Mickey statue wearing a Japanese-patterned costume will welcome guests. You can enjoy shopping in a special space that evokes Kyoto's unique "Wa" feel, with cherry blossom petal motifs on the floor and ceiling, as well as shoji-style decorations. The store will feature approximately 1,200 Disney and Pixar items, including Disney Store original characters "UniBEARsity" and "UniBestiez," the plush toy series "Urupocchan," lifestyle goods, sweets, apparel, and collaborative products with popular brands, offering a rich variety of items.
