Background and Objectives for Joining the Keizai Doyukai

In Japan's medical field, challenges related to the sustainability of surgical care are becoming apparent, including a shortage of surgeons, an aging physician population, and a decrease in opportunities for young doctors to learn advanced surgical techniques. These issues can lead to regional disparities in surgical quality and safety, and an increased risk of postoperative complications, representing significant societal challenges.

Our company is an academia-originating medical AI startup that is developing an intelligence layer for surgical operations to address these serious medical disparities and complication problems. With the mission of "Intelligence in Surgery, Innovation in the Operating Field," we aim to redefine surgical medicine through cutting-edge technology.

Through our membership in the Keizai Doyukai, we will participate in multifaceted discussions with executives leading various industries, and contribute to policy recommendations and practices for the social implementation of cutting-edge technology, economic revitalization, and the creation of a sustainable social security system.
