Users range widely from their 20s to 70s, and this area expansion is being implemented in response to requests from customers outside the previous target areas.

'flect' is primarily used by those who are unsure about furniture selection when moving or redecorating, and those who want to enjoy creating their ideal room with low initial costs. Popular categories since the service's inception have been sofas/living chairs and beds/mattresses, where the need to 'try before buying' is particularly strong. Meanwhile, racks and dining boards have also been well-received in recent years. Rental period is 3 to 24 months (minimum usage period is 3 months). In addition to the monthly fee, shipping and assembly/unpacking service fees are required for the first month. If purchased after 24 months of use, there are no additional charges. Mid-term cancellation is possible, but returning during the rental period incurs the monthly fee for the month of notification + 2 months' worth of monthly fees. Shipping fees are required for returns.
