Digital Grid Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yusuke Toyoda; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce the introduction of a custom-made procurement mechanism for the fiscal year 2026 electricity of Otani Sanso Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagato City, Yamaguchi; Representative Director and President: Kazuhiro Otani; hereinafter "Otani Sanso"). This system aims to suppress price volatility risks by procuring electricity in advance at a fixed price.
The Company's continuous support, including regular information sharing, led to the pre-procurement of some electricity starting in June 2025. This allowed Otani Sanso to successfully mitigate price volatility risks stemming from the current situation in the Middle East and other factors.
Digital Grid will continue to provide diverse services to help customers select power procurement methods that align with their cost and decarbonization policies.
