In this commercial, Takashi Fujii showcases catchy scat singing and dancing in a space dominated by the brand color orange. Set to an original song that's easy to hum along to, he uses his expressive talent, honed as a successful musician, to lively convey DiDi's features such as "No commission fees*1," "Ride dispatched in an average of 5 minutes*2," and "Okinawa Area No.1*3."

Additionally, the commercial employs a unique animation where the "DiDi" logo rhythmically moves in sync with Fujii's mouth. The memorable scat and striking visuals strongly impress the message: "If you're choosing, choose the taxi app with no commission fees - DiDi!"

About the New TV Commercial

The concept for this commercial is "DiDi: Easy to remember, easy to hum along to." Takashi Fujii performs a dance to the original scat "DiDi! DiDi! DiDi! Janakya!" while briskly introducing the service's features.

Filming Episode

During filming, Takashi Fujii delivered an energetic performance throughout, matching the original song and choreography. He portrayed multiple subtle expressions and movements in sync with the music, at times eliciting applause from the staff.

Furthermore, the lip-sync animation of the "DiDi" logo, one of the commercial's highlights, was created to match Fujii's mouth movements. During filming, meticulous attention was paid to the openness of his mouth and his sense of rhythm. The result is a commercial full of Fujii's unique charm, blending lively scat and dance.

Q. What were your thoughts when you were asked to appear in the DiDi commercial?

A. I was very happy!

I've been indebted to many drivers, so I wanted to do my best to repay them even a little!

Q. Please tell us your impressions after finishing the commercial shoot.

A. I caused a lot of trouble, but it was so much fun and ended so quickly that I thought, "Let me do more!" The lunch catering included my favorite food on the menu, and I was so touched, thinking, "They really value me." It was my first time having mochi as catering! I was happy.

Q. Which scene was the most challenging?

A. The variations in facial expressions for "DiDi! Janakya! Yeah~"! I poured my entire entertainment career into it. Please forgive me if my close-ups are unsightly.

Q. Please tell us about the highlights from your perspective as Fujii himself!

A. I was honored to co-star with a DiDi-wrapped taxi in the DiDi-colored orange!
