DGDV Leads Pre-Series A Round Investment in robottte, Provider of Recruitment Platform for Essential Worker Industries

DG Daiwa Ventures (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representatives: Junichi Nakajima, Katsuyasu Murata; hereinafter "DGDV") is pleased to announce its lead investment in the pre-Series A round for robottte Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenichi Takahashi; hereinafter "robottte"), a company that provides the recruitment platform "HR Monster" for the essential worker industries.

robottte develops and provides a recruitment platform that offers end-to-end support, from application reception to interview scheduling and post-hire retention support, for essential worker industries that support people's lives, such as caregiving, healthcare, logistics, childcare, food service, and building management.

In Japan, due to a declining population, there has been a chronic labor shortage, particularly in essential worker industries. Meanwhile, many businesses still handle recruitment operations such as post-application communication and interview scheduling in a personalized manner, leading to the loss of potential hires who could otherwise have been recruited.

robottte aims to improve the productivity of overall recruitment activities by standardizing and automating this "post-application" black box. Furthermore, by accumulating and utilizing data from recruitment to retention, the company aims to build a new recruitment infrastructure for the essential worker industries.

In conjunction with this investment, we were inspired by CEO Takahashi's strong commitment and sense of ownership towards transforming the essential worker industries, particularly caregiving. As the founder of Akari-e, a company with high recognition in the caregiving industry, Mr. Takahashi established a caregiving business that advanced the use of IT, which was progressive for its time, and achieved an M&A with a major caregiving operator. As a former operator in the caregiving business and a serial entrepreneur with exit experience, he deeply understands the challenges on the ground and has directly confronted the industry's structural issues of "inability to hire even with applications" and "inability to retain hires." We believe that developing products rooted in these real-world challenges is a significant strength of robottte.

In Japan, where the population is declining, securing human resources is both a management challenge for companies and a social issue.
