The General Incorporated Association Japan IKIGAI Design Association (Headquarters: Hokuto City, Yamanashi; Representative Director: Toshikazu Kumakura) is pleased to announce a special online program, 'IKIGAI Partner Webinar Special Edition,' on April 22, 2026. This free event aims to explore a new future for companies and workers, transcending the traditional framework of health management.

### Beyond Health Management Certification
It has been a month since the announcement of the 'Health Management Excellent Corporation' certifications. In the field, while expectations for further initiatives are rising, there are also voices of fatigue. Amidst this, the keyword 'IKIGAI' is gaining significant attention among business professionals worldwide. Do you know why?

This webinar features a prestigious lineup of special guests! In the first half, we welcome Mr. Osamu Hirano, Director of the NPO Health Management Research Institute and the 'father' of health management. We will discuss the future of corporations from the perspective of 'What lies beyond health management?'

In the second half, Governor Yoshihide Esaki of Gifu Prefecture and President Nishioka of Sansho Kogyo, who promotes Gifu's unique 'Working Style Reform' (働いてもらい方改革), will join. We will present a heated panel discussion on 'the future with a sense of IKIGAI' based on actual case studies.

### Speaker Profiles

**■ Mr. Osamu Hirano**
Vice Chairman, NPO Health Management Research Institute; CEO, Myname Inc.
While involved in marketing for Shiseido, Dentsu, NHK, and Recruit, he established the concept of 'Health Management' as social marketing in 2005. He proposed a new management system that positions human health as corporate capital. Known as the 'father' of health management, this concept has expanded socially, with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) selecting 'Health & Productivity Stock Selection' in collaboration with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

**■ Mr. Yoshihide Esaki**
Governor of Gifu Prefecture
Joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1989. Promoted health management as the Director of the Healthcare Industries Division and was involved in creating the 'Health Management Excellent Corporation' certification system in 2017, earning the name 'foster father' of health management. After serving as Director-General of the Cabinet Office and retiring in 2020, he established the Social Policy Issues Institute. In 2025, he became the Governor of Gifu, creating and promoting the prefecture's unique 'Working Style Reform' and SDG certification systems.

**■ Mr. Tetsuhito Nishioka**
CEO, SUNSHOW GROUP Sansho Kogyo Co., Ltd.
Born in 1979 in Sekigahara, Gifu. After working for a construction firm, he started his own business in 1999 and incorporated it in 2006. With SDGs at the core of management, his company became the first in the construction industry to win the Japan SDGs Award Special Prize (2018). In 2021, he won both the Semi-Grand Prix and the Top Award at the Japan Resilience Awards. His company is a UN-certified entity for solving social issues through business, including unique initiatives like 'Kangaroo Commuting' for women and on-site kids' spaces.

**■ Facilitator: Toshikazu Kumakura**
Representative Director, Japan IKIGAI Design Association; CEO, IKIGAI WORKS Co., Ltd.
After working at Asahi Bank and Selmesta, he became the CEO of Selmesta in 2011. He established IKIGAI WORKS in 2021. As an 'IKIGAI Evangelist,' he has consulted for 350 companies and 7.5 million people on health management and data-based health plans. He is dedicated to promoting IKIGAI through interviews, lectures, and events.
