Background of "Denno Tenko" Adoption Expansion

Systematic Improvements Supporting Efficiency in Roll Call Operations

In the taxi industry, securing operation managers has become difficult due to the ongoing shortage and aging of drivers. While roll call operations are essential for safe driving, late-night/early-morning responses and paper-based record-keeping and storage place a burden on the field, making it difficult for operation managers to dedicate sufficient time to their primary tasks of confirmation and judgment.

Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has been promoting the advancement of operation management using ICT, and the roll call system has been gradually revised. Remote roll calls were institutionalized in April 2022, automated post-operation roll calls in December 2022, automated pre-operation roll calls in April 2025, and inter-operator remote roll calls in August 2025. This has created an environment where roll call operations, which were previously assumed to be face-to-face, can now be made more efficient while ensuring safety.

Reasons Why Denno Tenko is Chosen

Since its launch, Denno Tenko has supported remote roll calls before and after operations, as well as automated post-operation roll calls. Furthermore, it will support automated pre-operation roll calls in January 2026, enabling flexible operations that combine remote and automated roll calls.

In addition, by combining it with the dispatch outsourcing service "Taxi CC," it leads to reduced burden and increased efficiency in operation management tasks.

In the future, integration with the dispatch system "DS" and the operation management system "Cabriolet" is also planned. This future potential to comprehensively integrate information from roll call, dispatch, and operation management is another reason for its selection.

These efforts have been recognized, and the service area has expanded to 24 prefectures in approximately one year since its launch.
