Our school supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to announce dreams. This press release is the dream of "Tokyo Denki University."

Tokyo Denki University (Chairman of the Board of Directors: Sadatsuna Watanabe) has, for over 115 years since its founding, upheld the mission of "nurturing human resources who contribute to society through technology." Based on its founding spirit of "respect for practical learning" and its educational and research philosophy of "technology is people," the university has been committed to promoting distinctive education and research with students and pupils at its core.

Our dream is to realize a society where everyone can live with peace of mind, through a cycle of knowledge and technology, where engineers born from our university confront and solve challenges in their respective fields, and their achievements create new value.

Towards the Realization of Our Dream ― TDU Vision2028

Our school is promoting a five-year mid-term plan, "TDU Vision2028," starting from the 2024 academic year. Even amidst significant changes in the social environment, we are advancing the following initiatives to remain a school that continuously creates value through education, research, and social contribution.

University: Educational Reform to Lead the Future of Science and Engineering

At the university, we aim to be recognized as one of the top runners among science and engineering universities, promoting the advancement of education and research.

In particular, centered around the Center for Liberal Arts Education, we are building a "Liberal Arts Education for Science and Engineering" to foster human resources equipped not only with specialized knowledge but also with human qualities and a social perspective. Furthermore, we prioritize the enrichment of students' learning environment and campus life, reviewing class schedules and advancing educational reforms.

Junior High School and High School: Science Education that Fosters Inquiry

At the junior high and high schools, under the school motto of "living humanely," we aim to develop each student's individuality, fostering rich humanity, high intellect, and a healthy body, to nurture individuals who can thrive in new eras and international society, earning trust and respect.

To achieve this, based on the new curriculum guidelines, we emphasize the development of thinking, judgment, and expression skills, in addition to the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills.

Moreover, we promote proactive learning through after-school learning support programs and strengthen science education through collaboration between junior high, high school, and university, working to develop human resources who will support Japan's science and technology.

The Dream of Tokyo Denki University

We will support the dreams of each student and pupil, connecting their potential to society.

Not just learning technology, but growing as individuals and becoming human resources who can contribute to society.

This accumulation is the future envisioned by our school.

Tokyo Denki University will continue to challenge new initiatives, aiming to realize a "school that continues to shine."
