Immersive Experience Facility "Wonderia Yokohama Supported by Umios" to Hold Inaugural Summer Event "Summer Wonderia 2026" from July 17 (Fri)

Wonderia Yokohama Supported by Umios (hereinafter, Wonderia Yokohama), an immersive experience facility located within the large-scale mixed-use complex BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai, planned and operated by DeNA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomoko Nanba; hereinafter, DeNA), opened on March 19, 2026, and surpassed 100,000 visitors as of May 2026.

To commemorate this milestone, Wonderia Yokohama will hold its first summer event, "Summer Wonderia 2026," from July 17 (Fri) to August 31 (Mon), 2026. This event proposes a cool indoor way to spend the summer, sparking curiosity by linking immersive experiences within the facility, the Wonderia app, the cafe, and workshops, with the main theme being "the movements of living creatures."

1. Update of "Movements of Living Creatures" Videos and Addition of Content to Official Facility App "Wonderia App"

In conjunction with the "Summer Wonderia 2026" event, some of the videos within the facility will be updated. This update will make it easier to capture the characteristic movements and dynamic moments of living creatures. Additionally, the collection elements within the smartphone app "Wonderia App," used by over 90% of visitors, will be expanded. Digital cards capturing the movements of some creatures, such as rabbits and bears, will be added, and the number of collectible creature cards will increase from the previous 77 to 86 types, further deepening the game-like exploration experience. Furthermore, to enhance the summer excitement throughout the facility, a photo spot using trick art will be installed at the entrance, and summer-limited background music will be played in some zones.

2. Sale of "Wonderia Exploration Kit" Usable for Summer Vacation Research Projects

The "Wonderia Exploration Kit," a set including a Wonderia original smartphone case, a Wonderia exploration notebook, and Wonderia cards depicting living creatures, will be sold. This kit is designed to work in conjunction with the spatial experience at Wonderia Yokohama, fostering an active interest in nature and living things. The exploration notebook contains content such as coloring and research activities that can be independently completed by elementary school students from lower to middle grades, making it ideal for summer vacation research projects. It can be enjoyed in various locations, including the Wonderia Cafe and at home.

3. Holding of "Aquaclara x Wonderia Yokohama Let's Make Trays with Used Water Bottles!"

As a joint project with Aquaclara Co., Ltd., a zone sponsor of Wonderia Yokohama, a workshop will be held to learn about the importance of "water" as the source of life and nature through the process of creating upcycled trays. This will be the second implementation of the workshop, which was highly popular with reservations every day during its run in Golden Week 2026.
